A Norwegian daredevil had a lucky escape when a stunt he was filming for a television show went horribly wrong.
Emirates Team New Zealand rounded the windward mark to starboard and dug the bows in to the main crossbeam in a violent maneuver. Two crew, Rob Waddell and Chris ward went overboard and were recovered by the team's chase boat apparently unharmed.
On 18 December 2013, an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 767 flight from Addis Ababa to Kilimanjaro International Airport made an unscheduled landing at the airport after it failed to land at its destination. It overran the short runway which resulted in the airport being closed for a short time. This video is shows when it was flown empty to Kilimanjaro International Airport a few days later. Runway is only 1620 m long,
