  Guess you just assume that only with new discovery we can resolve problems from the past... The discovery of the new world did not usher in social justice, even now 500 years later... Spend the billions where we know it is needed today, fix the hole in the bucket, then then go to mars to find some water.

What about gravity? its only .4 earth grav on the surface of mars. Venus cloud city is more appropriate for en habitation. with .9 earth gravity at 4,000 ft elevation.

Fix what is happening here first? Tell me, in the existence of human kind has there ever not been issues that need fixing? So your plan is to "Fix" issues here first, then do something that will impact the history of mankind. If everyone thought like you we would all be riding horses still...Invest in technology...how dumb, we have serious horse issues that need to be addressed. Try to think beyond your own little myopic realm.
