eruption @12 sec shock wave @ 25 sec time of travel =13 sec air temp at sea level Paupua, New Guinea (estimated @ 40C) speed of sound at 40C = 354.65 m/s x time of travel = 4610.45 Meters (4.6km) or 15,126 feet or 2.86 miles from eruption! Impressive timing to be filming!
