Couldn’t she have just put on some makeup, done her hair, and got some better lighting In the studio? And then she’d have the happy side effect of not looking like a cartoon at the end.

  I think the point is not so much how SHE wants to look, but how media producers want her to look. It is a commentary on all the body transformation that goes on in both video and print these days. And at the same time an interesting demonstration of video editing technology, the full real time power (for good or not) of which I had not been aware of.
