This is NOT computer generated. It is captured using a digital camera to generate a 3D model out of a real scene. Therefore all the lighting, shadows and textures are from a real scene and not rendered at all. There is no modelling or generation of lighting effects in this scene. So "technology almost becoming photorealistic" is not true. This is equivalent to saying that a digital video recording is almost photorealistic now. There is impressive photo-realistic rendering, but this is NOT it.
