What about California's 100 billion high speed rail project. It was supposed to go from Los Angeles to San Francisco and built in 10 years. Now it will go from Bakersfield to Merced - maybe. One tenth the original distance and no one know when it will be done? There is no reason to travel from Merced to Bakersfield or the reverse. Everyone is now against the project and a few corrupt politicians keep it going!
