I started using BOYT in late 2007 and it has been a part of my evening routine ever since. I miss seeing new videos popping up on here. I always found more interesting content on this site than what the YT algorithm provides. I hope this is a temporary pause and not goodbye.

  Let's be honest, BOYT was much better back in those day when youtube itself was more embryonic and not the finely-honed, attention farming machine that it is now. BOYT depended on a large, active community of curious individuals surfing YT and finding diamonds in the rough. In recent years, it's become harder and harder to find original, relatively undiscovered content on YT. I had become fed up in recent years of how many BOYT posts came from well-known channels with millions of subscribers - they were no more varied than the popular videos pushed by the YT algorithm to user homepages anyway.
