If that is the true scientific explanation, then I don't like it. She kept talking like its been proven... the idea that a bunch of nothing exploded into a bunch of stuff seems quite ridiculous to me. Especially the idea that nothing at all exploded and created space and time seems totally faulty also...

When scientists explain their fields, they always have one hand tied behind their back because it is impossible to fill someone in on all the physics, mathematics and observations that support their descriptions. This makes it look as if they're just making it up. Up to a point, current thinking about the big bang is the consequence of applying known scientific models in reverse. Beyond that, it's speculation. You can recognize the speculation by the buzz phrase, "We don't know." She is hot, isn't she?

I don't believe that it is completely true but I believe she is on the right track, it is very convincing but no one actually knows exactly what happened or what is out there. But it's pretty cool how the Earth just evolved from dust, rock and other substances.

Cool, I think everyone is right. I just try to narrow down my big bang theory to my wife and me. Now there's a 'big bang' of a time. ;o)

Well swifedg I was attempting to be funny. I was just pointing out that it wouldn't be possible to know it was 3 minutes without being there or being able to retest it. Personally, I suppose God could have created the universe with a big bang but I don't know why he would because Adam wouldn't have even been around to hear it for another 5 days so what would be the point of making a sound. To follow up with kingtiger and the atheist stand point. If we went to the moon and found the encyclopedia Britannica there. I think it would be safe to say that most of us would conclude that intelligent life made it or at least put it there. So what if i were to tell you that an ameba's DNA structure was more ordered and complex then the encyclopedia Britannica and you found it on the moon. Would you say that was created by chance? Thats just a one celled critter. The complexity of the eye ball goes infinitely beyond that. That, gentlemen, I can put my mind around. Saying DNA came upon us by chance is a far reach for me. If you want to know what the truth is all you have to do is sincerely ask. Jesus will answer, he promises he will, I am a testament to that. *More than a Carpenter-Josh Mcdowell
