  Yes but the point here is that the "riddle" is actually a very simple math problem and not tricky at all if you are paying it the "right" kind of attention. This simple problem highlights different mental programs we have at our disposal, each useful in different contexts and each hazardous in the "wrong" context. Once aware of this, we can take steps to activate one or the other program to more efficiently or effectively achieve certain goals.
