only thing i can think of is the audience is staged and the trick is pausing the camera. thoughts?

he's pretty good at palming, but you can see some of the moves if you play it back several times. My guess for the ring is, that he has a false thumb tip on his left hand, which he reaches for at 7:40. When grabing for the Wallet he puts it in there...
