If you stopped to help every drunk homeless person it would be a full time job. This guy isn't actually homeless, but there's no shame in assuming based on this information given to you. The suit guy's behavior is out of place, so he gets the attention. It makes sense. So it's not about the suit, it's about how we have too many homeless drunks/druggies and we're accustomed to seeing them

The poster's intent was to paint bystanders with a broad brush in a negative light. Not saying what bystanders did was right, but there is justifiably more perceived danger when approaching someone who looks down-and-out. That's using rational judgment. Who knows of this person's mental state or whether he is waiting to lunge out with a knife with intent to do harm. It's not that suited man would is not capable of a similar evil scheme. But, as human beings we use our judgment based on our own experience and things that hear about and see around us. If there weren't bad people out there, people would be more willing to lend a helping hand. That's not the world we live in today though. So, I see it as more of a self-preservation/personal safety issue. Much too convenient and disingenuous for the author of this vid to boil it down to people (probably good and honest) refusing to help because they disgusted by the sight of down-and-out person. It's not that simple.
