Wait, F = m*a so quite unastonishing that the fastest accelerator is such a tiny thing... Though if we cut the 'living', and we go smaller, a lot faster accelerations can be seen... For example accelerations of electrons in electric fields are in the order of 10^14 m/s² (compared with the 2*10^5 m/s² of these spores)
