So, all the weight is supported by this 2 tiny pieces of wood holded by two screws without glue? I bet that this chair is already broken, just the time to upload the video

Why was my comment about the safety--or lack thereof--of freehand cross cuts on the table saw deleted?

Terribly sorry about this. It was our mistake. We tried to restore the comment but were unable. Please write again if you have the chance. /BOYT

Sure...I am not the safety police type, and in general I feel each person needs to decide for themselves about how to stay safe with power tools. For example, I regularly work without the blade guard on my table saw because I feel safer being able to see exactly where the blade is and what it is up to. BUT, free hand cross-cuts on a table saw (without a t-slide or sled) are very dangerous. Have I ever done it? Ok...yes. But whenever I do it I am constantly telling myself "this is stupid...you are milliseconds away from having a chunk of wood thrown at some random part of your body including but not limited to your face." (Needless to say, free hand rip cuts are also very dangerous, but not even I would ever do THAT.) So please: DON'T freehand cuts on a table saw. Other than that, pretty cool video.

Holy crap, those free hand table cuts were terrifying to watch! My brother in law lost the tip of his thumb on a table saw. And I feel an acute sense of fear everytime I turn my table saw on. I can't *imagine* trying to do a free hand cross cut like that on a table saw. I've never done a cut without a blade guard on.

Not only dangerous in the making thereof but also that central vertical wooden strut aimed right at the crown jewels, if the main center rope breaks...
