I love love love this. SG-1 is one of the best shows. And macgygver is too :) two thumbs up!!! 👍 👍

  I’ve never seen either, so this video is lost on me... but if it gets Dave’s seal of approval then it’s worth an upvote

  JC your instinct to go with Dave on this one is well founded. McGyver was an action adventure show where the protagonist became reknown for his ability to get out of hazardous situation with whatever was at hand, which was often not much. This would then get exaggerated to comedic effect, as in this clip, in popular culture (before “memes” were a thing in popular culture). You’re welcome.

  Here’s a particularly absurd example where multiple things just conveniently worked out for him. A heat vent that’s not screwed on. A hanger on the floor, a conveniently timed bomb, a rotatable shoot, etc. https://youtu.be/XfCa3wn37mU
