Why on earth would it not be allowed? The monkey... is smoking... a cigarette! He wants a cigarette and now he's a total badass! That's cool! :D What right do we have to take the cigarette from him anyways... he's an individual. :) Maybe it takes the stress out of living in a damn zoo ey?

  how do u know the animal was trained? havent u seen monkeys mimic people? a visitor probably gave the monkey the cig on purpose / accidentally. i highly doubt the zookeepers would be stupid enough to train it to smoke.

  We put the monkey in a giant cage for his entire life! What right do we have to do that? You're all freaking out over a cigarette even though you've forgotten that the cruelest part of all is his territory is probably about 200 x 200 sq. ft. of fake trees and sod.

Well... I think the monkey is going to be ok ;) Cigarette's are harmless until you smoke them for years and years and years. I think the monkey is not going to smoke that often... in fact, it would cost so much to supply him that it would be a real bother to the zoo. So... whatever. Maybe he stole the cigarette... maybe not. If the zookeeper gives him one or two every so often, whatever. They reduce stress

OMG, the zookeepers are obviously not treating him right, What impression would it give the kids, I know that 1 cigarette wouldn't effect his health but it's not right, the animal rights thingy bob wouldn't allow that.

Replay the first 10 seconds and see G.W. Bush if you missed it the first time. I don't think removing this video will necessarily help the cause of the gorilla or add to his exploitation for entertainment value. People also need to see such things to learn about what happens and to be outraged.
