I'm guessing the camera is mounted on the helmet and then edited out. There is a slight reflection of it if you look closely.

  Anything cool filmed on a gopro WILL become a gopro advertisement. That doesn't mean that it was originally filmed to be an ad, or make it less cool if it was. It is still the first time I have seen a ski jump from that point of view.

The camera was mounted on a pole on top of his helmet and then digitally removed. You can see the pole in the shadow of him to his right.
