Do not underestimate langlaufing. I have skied for over 17 years, and once I tried to langlauf. When the area is flat, it's easy, but when you have to go down the slope, dammit, I underestimated it and I fell alot

That looks about like me too. Classical cross country skis don't have edges like downhills, and there's little you can do if you lose balance while they're in those grooves.
