Certainly some very funny moments but I do not enjoy the genre where you make someone look stupid and/or make them upset and expect the audience to laugh at that. As a point of contrast, usually Sacha Baron Cohen is making a socio political point when he makes a joke at someone’s expense, and usually that person has already behaved in a way that makes them worthy of being targeted by satire. But in this video, Nathan seems to be trampling on the lawyer’s good faith willingness to help him out with his show. What do you think, Dave?

Yeah, I think he should have been a little more "wink wink" about it and not so deadpan, then the paper grabbing could have been enjoyed by both of them as a sort of game. Sacha Baron Cohen has some good moments with people he supports like Bernie Sanders. But when he managed to convince that crazy guy to pull his pants down and moon the camera while yelling obscenities — that wasn't funny at all. Yeah, the guy was a jerk, but I can't laugh at someone getting humiliated, no matter how much it's deserved

It just shows some flaws in our system that IS an actuall social comment, also the Lawyer was willing to sign it and get the payment for it, he took the job, its totally his fault.

I think it was just an appearance release to appear on the show he knew they were filming, not a job.

Actually, at least under German law, the contract would be void. The person handing you a contract that contais a "surprising clause" cannot use it. If I had been the lawyer, and if German law had been applicable, I could have flipped the joke and made the guy believe he was going to jail for attempted fraud (which would't fly either).
