If you look at carefully at the rubiks cubes after they have been mixed up by the judges, and then compare them to the two identical rubiks cubes (or 3 in the case of the big cube) they are different combinations. Which means an additional cube has been bought into the mix to replace the original. For example at 1min35 the original was probably still in the bag. At 12mins30 it probably happened when he put his hand behind his back.

Just so everyone knows, America's Got Talent has a history of faking their magic acts. Yes, downright faking them. They allow the "magicians" to stop the cameras, replace stuff (for example remove something), then the camera starts rolling again and everyone ACT amazed when the thing is gone. In light of that, you should NEVER take a magic act on America's Got Talent seriously. Honestly, this video does not belong on Best Of Youtube.

You're absolutely right, and have mentioned it before: https://bestofyoutube.com/world-champ-close-up-magic || Here is the video you mentioned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDl7VE8xL8c || And.... here is the explanation of how he did it https://youtu.be/_dSp_f0f9gE?t=302 || As you rightly say, its faked.

Well I do not find that particular “debunking†very compelling. Maybe they did edit some things in post production for the sake of keeping the secret from 30fps freeze frame, but from where the audience was sitting, a vanta black table and a skilled performer would still have looked great. I would need to see a better example of the AGT judges faking surprise to believe it is rigged to that extent.

I think he's just a good magician. There is no way that they're doing camera tricks to fake an act. You know we live in an age of social media and the audience would tweet about the scam. You can't keep a fraud like that covered up. You just can't. Not happening. I'd sooner believe the moon landing was faked then believe this act was.

So 52 cards. The cube has 26 little square pieces. You just need to hide fragments from two cards in each piece. And remember/know where it is. Solved.
