This is hilarious! I think these people actually think they’re creating life! 😅... 😳 oh my goodness. I think I just glimpsed the future where humans put so much of their emotions into unintelligent things they created that they actually think they’re alive in real life. Artificial intelligence should be called human intelligence. Because that’s all it is.

  Around 2:15 they start comparing it to a child's sense of learning and development and "imagination". Machine learning is not intelligence. It's not sentient. It's not making independent decisions that exceeds the scope of it's programming. It's not gonna learn and grow beyond what a human's intelligence programs into it.

  My friends, be warned. The apocalypse is near. Not because of AI, but because Dave and I have agreed twice in one week—as sure a sign as any that these are strange times we are living in. Machine learning simply makes the extremely tedious possible, or allows computers to perform tasks with difficulty that humans can do—and do do—easily, every waking second of every day. There is not parts being greater than the whole here. The technology is great. But as I always say, until the computer is happy that it beat Kasparov, we need not worry about the machines taking over.
