A portrait session with a twist
A photograph is shaped more by the person behind the camera than by what's in front of it. To prove this six photographers were invited to a portrait session with a twist.

This was disappointing. How much of this can be attributed to the differences in the photographers? That seems to be more of a factor than the subject.

I also felt that the photos were influenced by the character the actor was playing rather than the intention of the photographer. The only picture that gave me the feeling it related to the subjects 'background' was the empty chair included in the psychic version of the actor.

That's the difference between art and journalism. Both are valid uses of a camera.
