Ugh. This is the worst side of the Internet! Yes, the employees are jerks and made too big of a deal over seven bucks. But that doesn't mean they should be inundated with hate from people who don't know them. These people think they're on the side of justice (and I agree in this case), but they use that to justify their own terrible and awful actions. Two wrongs don't make a right!!!

you know what I'm going to say so I don't have to say it. That and it's your and the delivery guy's responsibility to ensure the correct items were delivered for the correct price, and settle any tips/disagreements on the spot, before the damn pizza guy leaves. The customers either failed to agree on a plan for the money, or lied about there not being a tip, after all. Then they asked for HIS job? Chances are he didn't confirm the tip, but society is changing so the tip is assumed unless you ask for specific change back, or it's a large amount for a tip.

People are disgusting. His argument makes sense, anyone would have assumed it was a tip, otherwise why on earth would you give him an extra $5 bill?

It is a disgrace how people treat each other. Just take a look at the "reviews" of the shop in google. People accusing them of sexsual insults, spreding lies. Two wrongs don't make a right!!!

Usually the delivery guy provides change, and the customer leaves some of it with the driver for tip. This case was confusing because the customer gave him unnecessary bills and he assumed it was tip. Both sides made errors, and everyone got pretty confrontational about it. Meh.
