this guy must be retarded or buying plantains and calling them bananas. Opening a banana from the stem can be accomplished WITH ONE HAND. HOW TO: hold the end of the banana against your body with the inside of the curve facing you. hold the banana upright with the stem on top. hold it like you're turning on a flash light, and then tilt that hand forward. that's just one hand, to open it while you can use two hands, just hold the banana with one hand and with the other, grab the stem so both your thumbs are facing inwards and the inside curve is facing up. then, rotate the hand grabbing the stem clockwise (counter-clockwise if left hand) It goes a lot faster if you actually do it rather than read it. Plus, MAKE SURE THEY'RE RIPE! you wont be able to open it easily if they're not ripe.
