  I was thinking the same thing, but I don’t think he did.’video games wouldn’t be as good if he did. With a save like he had you root against the guy’s return. But question: why was he crouching under the table so long? It’s like he positioned himself to be under the table and hold his paddle like that. And then he just *stayed* there. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but this seems weird.

  I’m with Dave on this and it’s the same with the hang gliding video yesterday. A fantastic video getting a lot of views, but is it real? A middle age, unfit gentleman (appearance wise anyway) able to hold onto a hang glider for two and a half minutes, travelling at 31-35mph(?), dealing with bumps and turns…. secondly, why didn't the glider pilot land sooner as there was ample opportunity from the 0.49 second mark... || https://www.bestofyoutube.com/hang-glider-cheated-death || perhaps that is exactly what happened, I have no idea. Maybe there is more to this video too? Its worth having a degree of scepticism (or 'skepticism' for our US friends) given the money involved for a viral video.

For the hang glider and all thats "specticsm" (aka conspiracy theory): The pilot tries to land earlier. But there might be winds and the poor guy hanging grabbing the bar is pulling the whole glider in the wrong direction as you can cleary see. And i think: When the battle is 100 kilo vs. your life.....I think you can hang much longer than in the gym drinking icetea. (And of course: The pilot is supporting him and so he got the chance to rest his arm/ hands für a short period. Just take it as it is.

  :) you might well be right dahenne. As I say I have no idea if its real or not, personally I think it is real. However, IF there is more to it than meets the eye then we have been caught.

The video is for sure real. It happened during a second division tournament in Norway last week. The kid, Christoffer, who is 15 years old says to the Norwegian TV channel: "(...) I was under the table and thought the ball was lost, so I just did something I thought was funny. Amazingly, he hit my racket, Christoffer says laughing"
