It's not even the same drumbeat everywhere. At some places the highhat is twice the speed, at others the base drum hits both at 1 and 3. Pretty poor video tbh.

So what you're saying is that the drumbeats you heard that weren't what he described were just variations on what he described?

  Yes. Exactly. It's not the beat that's in the opening music sheet. If variations are accepted, there are countless songs with 4 beats to the bar. Probably 95% of all songs go within that criteria. The one who made the video starts with trying to make a point, and then very quickly steps away from the point he's trying to make.
