I find it usefull in that on several occassions I have gone to snopes to check the validity of something. Never anything serious, but I have to say I didn't question the response of Snopes. Sigh

Snopes was a good source for getting your relatives to stop forwarding email chains and other retarded email-related stuff 15 years ago. Other than that they are garbage.
