People don't believe the Climate Change dogma because they were shown that rising sea level map in Al Gore's inconvenient truth back in 2006 and told the apocalypse was coming in ten years if we didn't act now. When all the doomsday scenarios never play out it's kinda hard to trust the models.

I agree. The other problem with maps (where he seems to be suggesting looking at a map gives a reality) is scale is lost: https://www.bestofyoutube.com/map-projection-wrong
