Probably Stolen? Why on earth would it be probably stolen? Who steals a bike and then throws it in the water?

  fair enough.. but why would someone who owns this amazing piaggo :d had a nuts day at the lake while somehow driving that thing in the water and then decides to leave it behind. i go for stolen aswell :) have a nice day !

  Cause it's extremely difficult to recover it without these magnets I'd guess. Or maybe the owners were drunk. But I still have no idea what would compel a thief to throw his loot in the lake. He said the same thing about the purse at the beginning — that it was stolen. Sounds like a pretty terrible thief.

  Dave are you serious? What about getting rid of evidence material? Maybe the bike was used in a robbery of purses (with valuable content) for all we know.

Throwing the motorcycle in a lake? I feel sorry for whoever is fishing there. Environmental crime of the worst sort.
