Only people I've ever met who are interested in this stuff are fart-fearing climate hysterics

If you're interested in why the scientific community is in complete agreement about manmade climate change, there's plenty of information out there. If you'd rather cover your eyes and ears while screaming "I don't want climate change to be real, no, no, I refuse", then please do that elsewhere.

There's just a limit to how many times their predictions turn out to be wrong before they start to lose some credibility. I don't care about a consensus that man made CO2 emissions effect the climate because I agree with that. The people putting fingers in their ears are climate change advocates who refuse to debate skeptics because "we can't give them a platform". I'm sorry, but if your position isn't open to debate, it means you've lost the debate. Good ideas welcome scrutiny — not reject it.

The question is how *much* of a factor are man made CO2 emissions. Not *are* they a factor. And if it's as big a threat as is claimed, they should be for nuclear energy and fracking. But they aren't. That makes it pretty clear it's a political issue and not a principled one.
