I too was confused, lol. Then I turned up the volume and noticed the music from "Shrek" was playing (Smash Mouth's All Star). Still was a bit confused, then I paid more attention to the words being sung. As the driver was backing up, you can hear "...get myself away from this place." being sung.=)

Yeah, worst case scenario is that if he didnâ€™t back up he would have had a dented fender. It didnâ€™t look that bad. But where does Shrek fit in?

The song is on the OST of the first Shrek movie. Listen to the song before he backs up. Still dont know why he does that though.

Perhaps he backed up because the song lyrics before he backed up are " spare some change for gas " must have wanted to try get in the right lane for the fuel station...

Another disappointing video with a crappy misleading title. The joke was so obscure that even making a note of the coincidence annoys me.

I have no idea who you are, but you're absolutely right! Its another un-bestofyoutube video, posted by boyt, making the feature page... there's a surprise!. I unticked the option to be a screener sometime ago as its a farce.

Stick around to the part where they play out the journey to the moon. It's so good! And I love the theory that it's one big jump over the moon rather entering into orbit around it. Thanks for the upvote anyway. Too bad it doesn't ultimately matter.
