Your description about how the left and right channel signals are generated is wrong. (The L/R needle movements are more or less perpendicular to each other, not as you depicted it). Your statement that the left and right channels are separated at the amplifier is also wrong. (They run separated all the way from the record to the loudspeakers).

How did this get featured over 'Cow Asks Dave To Rescue Her Newborn Calf' in the submissions? That video has all the makings of a bestofyoutube classic... more importantly though... its a video with Dave! Come on sceeners wake up.
