Would be more interesting if the purchasing power parity was taken into account. You may be able to buy 25 lbs of bananas for 5$ in ethiopia, but people only earn 120$ per month.

Nah, it really wouldn't.. the whole point of the video is to show the value of food between nations. "Purchasing power" usually goes pretty much in the same direction as the nations own value. Make the salary double to 240$ and the bananas will undoubtedly skyrocket to atleast 10$.

Well i think beer of that quality you can get in the west for the same price maybe even cheaper. At least cheap brands are the same price.
