The Ambulance made a mistake by driving in the center at the beginning but everyone adjusted untill the big truck was blocking the way. Still they reacted pretty well to the situation. Good Guy German Driver.

  Actually you have to keep the space between the left and the middle lane free. So the guys after the big truck blocking the way made a mistake ... but everyone adjusted.

That is not an ambulance but a fire truck! Und die Rettungsgasse funktioniert in Deutschland nicht ansatzweise so gut wie in Oesterreich. Ausnahmen bestimmen die Regel.

Also ich bin jetzt seit einem Jahr Rettungssanitäter in �sterreich und die Rettungsgasse funktioniert auch nicht wirklich perfekt

I don't think they 'reacted' to the emergency vehicle coming through. They had the sense to leave a path in the road to allow any emergency vehicle through.

I guess those parked cars had already cleared the road when other emergency vehicles passed already trough.

The road was already cleared for other emergency vehilces coming before that. I thought this is normal behaviour almost in any country, but still cool to watch. By the way, i'm from switzerland.

There's a law in Austria and Germany (and other european countries) that regulates your reaction in case of an occurring traffic jam: You have to form an emergency corridor like the one in the video. My guess is, that the few ones not forming said emergency corridor are from foreign countries or just really suck at driving!
