It seems fake but I don't really "see" the fakeness. (1) the camera pans left and right a little too perfectly (2) the man points to the sky but not exactly where the bird is (3) the slithering snake looks a little mechanical (4) the whole video cuts out in the middle of the action (5) I don't speak Chinese but I'm pretty sure they were saying "stupid white people will never realize this is a fake". All that said, though, again, I don't really see any flubbed frames or suspicious pixels.

  They're saying things like "it's flying this way!" and "it's as snake", and then "run away! run away!" but in a half-hearted and unconvincing tone. Also, the woman says "it's flying this way!" seconds before the bird actually turns; like it was dubbed over and not correctly synced. I'd say the following signs are that it is faked: (1) utterly unconvincing voice acting. (2) lack of the sound of flapping, or even jostling when the camera person ducks away. (3) Motion of the bird defies physics - it's on a smooth path while moving its wings up and down, real birds bob a little because on the power stroke. (4) motion blur of the bird and snake don't match the surrounding scene. (5) motion and lighting on the snake on the ground is unnatural.

The flight animation for the hawk is so bad it hurts.

Yes, it's a well known fake. It was put together by the Hawthorn Football Club (a.k.a. The Hawks) to promote their team.
