So, if I understood his point, the worldwide demand for energy (electricity) is inevitably going to increase because people want to improve their standard of living, so in order to accommodate that demand while still not killing the planet, we who are above the "Air Line" have to decrease our consumption, and we all have to find sustainable sources of energy that will still meet the demand. No problem. Don't get me wrong... I think he is right! But it is a massive challenge that will take some fundamental shifts in thinking for the G7 and G20 countries, at the grass roots level. Not an easy thing to accomplish at all.
