  That's what he did in the end. I would be afraid to bend over and pick one up though. I would think that is when the cat would pounce.

  I might be kind of dumb, but if I'm gonna die, I kind of want it to be recorded. Your initial reaction is certainly fight or flight, but if you have a moment to whip out your camera and THEN you face the fight or flight reaction, you're not just gonna turn your camera off. I think that's what happened here.

What he did right: Back away while facing the cat the entire time What he did wrong: Branch, rock, selfie stick? lol Meh: His voice probably had no projection, so the cat classified him as dangerous to the babies but not the mama. Some thrown rocks would have fixed this, but could have just enraged the cat. It's actually a very good video all around :)
