The narrator is really reaching trying to make the song be more than it is. In terms of music, it's honestly not that special. The way the chorus is progressing upwards - nothing special. The bassline - nothing special. And to even compare it to something like Bohemian Rhapsody... Ridiculous. Youtube is full of fans of different musicians trying to explain why their musician is the best. Very few of them have valid points. This is no exception.

Thing is for its time it was far ahead of the curve, he doesnt point that out well enough but still this is 1960-1970.
