this doesn't even make sense. if it goes this fast and flattens then how are these dimples still intact after impact?

For the most part the physics of this work out, but i highly doubt this would be a legit golf ball. Of course there are different sorts of golf balls each with different materials and structures. But the dimples wouldn't flatten out they would assuming the rest of the golf ball stayed in tact, remain in shape.

I'd guess that it is letgit. Living in the UK I recognise the "cricket" with the red button in the top right corner being the one the BBC use. There has been a few science programmes on lately with slo-mo stuff like this.
