Well then it's not the same story. Though storys like this are usually modified and enhanced over time. If you Google Frane Selak, you'll only find ALMOST the same story, but not exactly the same story, on a bunch of different websites.

On his Wikipedia page As of this date, none of Selak's claims have been independently verified. There is no record found after extensive research online of the train wreck or the plane crash, and there are plenty of resources available covering every aviation fatality crash since the very first one, and the train wreck would have appeared in the local news at the very least...
