  How could you *not* enjoy seeing a flash flood? Maybe next time if I'm there I'll put a life vest on, take a deep breath, jump in and enjoy the ride.

  I kid you not, growing up we had a creek that filled a 3 foot tunnel under the road that we would crawl in under normal circumstances. One year it was completely flooded and I imagined what it would be like to do just that. Dive in and hold your breath. Never had the guts to do it.
