Piano dogs with a sense of pitch

I'm not sure if they have a sense of pitch, or if they are playing based on her visual cues. She appears to be guiding them through her body and face directing them where to play. (I admit I could be wrong, but I wouldn't just assume they are using pitch).

  She is also giving the dogs voice commands before she plays the tune. Sometimes the dogs plays the notes almost before she does.
