this actually has nothing to do with magic he is piercing his arm with needle its nothing special some do this with cheeks some can pierce trough torso fakirs from asia do this all the time after you pierce your body on one place you can pierce it on same place every time without actual damage, yes it hurts but no magic

  Could it be an area that has been pierced before? I have seen this done in person by people that have a lot of piercings not claiming to be magicians, and there was no blood.
