Never turn your wheels into oncoming traffic while waiting
Strong images. The drivers were shaken up but they survived with minor injuries.

The Nanny State saved this man's life. Thank you, Big Government! Many of us are alive today because you forced private companies to offer safety features that they didn't want to produce.

The title is stupid, sure, it is a good reminder but had nothing to do with the video, he did not turn the wheel, the vehicle that hit him from behind hit him offcenter, to the right of his car which made the car rotate to the left, basic physics, had nothing to do with his front wheels being turned (they wherent)

  Look again, as soon as he comes to a stop, just before he is hit, he turns the wheel.

  Wrong. Look the movement of the hand right before the crash and the smove curved track of the "rolling" car after it.

The turn into my street is off of busy highway I tell all my guests and family never turn your steering wheel because of this reason. Cars are always illegally passing us on the right. If your wheels are turned and you are hit you have 100% chance of going into the oncoming lane. True you can still be pushed into the oncoming lane it hit off-center but why raise your odds
