  ha ha. Yes. At least I do. The alternative is either cutting or eating with your non-dominant hand. It's too awkward feeling.

  Me too, and I'm European. Same with standing. And I've seen lots of people holding their cigarettes like there over here. So I'm not too sure it's typical American.

  Honestly, I am not sure what I do. I know I cut with my dominant hand. But then do I eat the cut pieces with the fork in my non-dominant hand or switch? I do not even know. I will pay attention next time I eat. Thank you, BOYT. You have brought a deeper level of self awareness.
