In March 2015 Jeremy Clarkson was suspended by the BBC from Top Gear following a "fracas" with one of the show's producers. On 25 March 2015, the BBC released an official statement confirming that, as a result of the actions which led to his suspension, they would not be renewing his contract with the show.
