It's simple. Singer's got in-ear monitor, random fan doesn't. She can't hear herself to properly hit the note...

Are people really defending this girl. Obviously she is just a terrible singer. Whether you can hear yourself or not, you shouldn't ever sound that bad.

  She didn't want the microphone. She was clearly terrified and shaking her head "no". She probably knows she can't sing. I feel bad for her.
