Looks like an amp mixer combo. In that case, the thing would not need power, just an usb cable in order to signal the changes to the pc...

  i dont understand this stuff, but if what you say is true, it means thousands are falsely accusing the guy in the video for "simply pressing play"

  All the stuff I know works like this: If there is a AC-Power-In you it needs AC-Power or it does not work. Equipment that also can be powered over USB oder batteries ohne hab a 9V(or 5V) DC-Power-In. Although the USB connection should be on the back of this thing, and he plugged nothing in.
