I don't get it. In all of these self driving car fantasies they never explain how they could ever build a fully autonomous car that would never need a human for unexpected scenarios or conditions. This thing would definitely be useful for long hauls on a freeway, but you'd have to build some sort of receiving station where it passes the cargo off to a real truck for loading and delivery. But they never get into the details with this stuff.

Even with that, there are still unexpected scenarios that require a human to be available. It seems insane to me to build an autonomous car that can’t support a human to take control if necessary. It’s a proof of concept. Nothing more.
