I still don't understand why any country would put a foreign leader on its money. Are you your own country or not, Australia? Even worse that it's a queen, not even a democratically elected leader.

  Well they are part of the Commonwealth so yeah its their queen too as long a i know. It just doeesnt really matters that much.

  The Queen is the official head of state for Australia, and for Canada and probably other Commonwealth countries too. She is on our Canadian notes and coins too. I may be wrong but I believe Australia's bank notes are actually manufactured & printed in the Canadian Mint. Not sure if we developed the technology here or not though? And we do this for many countries.

Why can't the Fed get some halfway decent designers. The design of this bill puts US designs to shame. Our money just gets worse and worse looking over time.
