I think everybody in the world should see this video, or at least know about the technology and inform other people. My only criticism is that once again America seems to always treat this as a race and feels the need to always be the first at everything. The world needs this and should not be treated as a power race.

Amazing how far the video producers go out of their way to avoid the "U" word. Thorium is fertile but not fissile, which means it needs to be converted into Uranium-233 before its useful as an atomic energy source. Afterwards you still have to dispose of the waste products, including Protactinium-231 that has a half-life of 33,000 years. While the Molten-Salt Reactor Experiment was highly successful in terms of operational safety, its decommissioning was messy and expensive: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molten-salt_reactor_experiment#Decommissioning
